S2E21 - "?"

They couldn't even come up with a title for this episode, or did they just forget it?  Or is it an homage to the lead singer of a 60s garage-punk band?

02:03  Of course it's a dream.  Ana Lucia got gut-shot.  Ain't no coming back from that.

07:43  Michael, you lyin' bastard.

11:37  Unfortunately, the Question Mark is six feet under :(  (See, because the lead singer of the Mysterians is dead.)

18:07  I'd been wondering why they didn't grab the heroin a long time ago.  It's an opiate, just like morphine, why not use it as a pain-killer?  Because we needed to work the Charlie-as-addict angle a little while longer, that's why.

23:35  Hey, it's the psychic!  More interconnectednessity or whatever.

26:27  What do you see, Eko?  OH SNAP A BIG CIRCLE!  Must have been made by Jews. . . . (You see, illiterate Jews wouldn't sign with an X because of its resemblance to the cross, so they'd do a circle instead. . . . yes it's kind of esoteric but that's how I roll).

27:28  Okay, but why wouldn't the hatch be in the middle of a big circle, instead of a couple dozen meters past it?  That just doesn't make sense.

30:59  They just stumbled into the apartment of the dude who invented the Matrix, apparently.

32:22  That's obviously records of every time they pressed the button.

34:44  Locke does not look pleased.
He's about to punch the button in its fucking face.
36:18  Alright, I'm with Locke here, in being confused about Eko's enthusiasm about the damn button.

43:06  Oh, nice one, Jack, you just scared her to death.

S2E20 - "Two for the Road"

I'm guessing this is going to be about drunk driving.  And, uh, I dunno, maybe someone doing the Lido Shuffle twice.

03:23  Even Arnold Schwarzenegger needed this chick's help, Michelle Rodriguez.  You need to listen to her.

05:22  Is Henry Gale gonna have to choke a bitch? NOPE!  Saved by Locke!

07:20  Oh look, another previous connection.  Ana Lucia becomes Jack's dad's sidekick in Sydney.

11:01  "Because you're one of the good ones, John."  Lends credence to my sort-of-Purgatory theory, but that's too easy, you know?

15:47  Oh, drunken Jack's dad had an affair and is now paying for some Australian bastard daughter.  But I bet we don't see her ever again, right????

16:20  "Dude, nice hole!"  That line never works on women, though.

19:47  Fighting leads to fucking.  And ten bucks says she'll leave with his gun.  (His other gun, that is!  Eh? Eh????)

21:55  Nice Midnight Cowboy reference there, Sawyer.

'23:07  Why do all the Dharma food cans have the same serial number on them?  It's all the same food.  Soylent Dharma.  (It's made from smoke.)

30:27  Broke your hip, Hurley?  You're fat, not elderly.  Come on now.  Say it was for a blood clot.

32:10  Okay, burning the last few pages of a book?  Jack's being a dick again.

32:43  Ana Lucia stole his "gun."

32:59  I love Locke, man.  "Jack . . . I need to tell you something."  Beautiful!

37:40  Aww, she couldn't do it.

39:27  But Michael can do it for her.

40:44  Sorry for what?

40:49  Pop!  I lost my shit the first time I watched that.  I yelled out "HE'S BEEN TURNED!"

41:11  Then Libby walks in.  Pop Pop!  Oh shit, he didn't mean to do that!

42:10  At this point I thought, oh shit, Michael just shot himself in the heart!  (But don't worry, it turns out he didn't.)

S2E19 - "S.O.S."

Okay, I have a confession to make.  I watched the rest of Season 2 on vacation but did not take notes.  Therefore, in the next few entries, I'm just going to go through the episodes hitting on the high points (and low points).  I will, however, point out where I figured things out before they were revealed (which wasn't too often, actually).  On we go.

02:12  Here we see Locke trying to remember what the hell was graffiti-ed on the blast door, and struggling with whether or not to hit the damn button.  Your unshakeable faith is being .  . . shooken, bald man.

06:05  The story of how Bernard and Rose meet is pretty boring.  However, after watching this episode, we caught the end of The Fugitive in British TV, and noticed that the actress playing Rose plays one of the Marshals in the movie.  So, uh, there's that.

09:55  The principal from Growing Pains has a point about that plot hole there, with nobody trying to get off the island anymore.  Go for it, ye enemy of Mike Seaver.

13:30  She has cancer, but he don't care.  Fuck cancer!  And get the fuck out, with your violins.

15:45  I called the church thing an episode or two ago.  I also called the "people are saved in different ways" line.

22:45  Oh, and at some point I called the fact that the reason she doesn't want to leave the island is because she somehow knows it cured her cancer.  (Cf.  Locke's legs.)

37:05  She breaks the cancer news, and he says, once again, "Fuck it, I'm with you!"  Ah, gross old-people love.

42:01  Aaaaaaaaaand, Michael's back!  I definitely have mixed emotions about this.

S2E18 - "Dave"

Is this going to be about 2001: A Space Odyssey?

00:49  Hurley's sick, alright; lovesick.

02:30  Instead of wasting all that food, why doesn't he just give it to his fellow islanders?  Damn, Hurley!

03:42  McCoughnadickname: "Tattoo."

04:15  McCoughnadickname: "Moonbeam."

07:44  "The Accident"?

13:44  Good Cop, Bad Cop.  Where's the Rogue?

14:25  Eko's building something.  A church?

17:17  I'm gonna go ahead here and assume Dave's imagniary.  Which would mean . . . Dave's not here!

21:42  Damn, Hurley just beat the shit out of Sawyer.

26:09  Oh, his fatness killed a bunch of people.  That's pretty sad, really.

27:05  Show him the picture!  The picture with no Dave!  Called it 10 minutes ago.

31:52  Aww, dude, peanut-butter shoe.

36:05  You gotta wake up, man.  Inception-style!

39:22  Oooh, did he really not press the button?  Or did he press the button?

43:37  SMOOCHINGS

45:09  Oh shit, Libby's in the nuthouse too.  The plot fattens!

S2E17 - "Lockdown"

This is the one Brad said is awesome.  If he's wrong, he gets a murder in the face.

02:08  Aww hell, he's packing the camembert.  You know what that means. . . . Gong bootlegs.

05:13  Are you as surprised as I am that the balloon and grave actually exist?  Then again, that doesn't mean he's telling the truth.  Them otters is slippery (ha ha!)

09:39  Who are these mooks hanging around Locke's dad's grave?

11:11  That definitely looks like a lockdown to me.

11:34  McCoughnadickname:  "Mutton chops."

12:10  McCoughnadickname:  "Amarillo Slim."

14:15  HOLY SHIT LOCKE'S DAD IS A ZOMBIE

17:50  No matter what?

19:29  McCoughnadickname:  "Mongo."

21:37  But I thought Locke couldn't feel pain in his legs?  Come on, writers!

26:20  John, don't be telling him your secrets!

28:30  Venereal disease jokes! Ha-HA!

30:53  "Henry can you hear me?"  HOW CAN LOCKE BE SAAAAVED???

34:43  That's sad.  Dammit, Peg!

36:00  What the fuck just happened?  What is this blacklight schematics shit on this blast door?  Did someone put in the code?  And where the fuck did Henry go?

39:51  The parachutes are supply drops!  Brilliant.

41:56  Gale's wife was a man!  Oh wait.

S2E16 - "Just the Facts"

Hi, folks, I'm back, and I've got about, oh, fifty-seven episodes to catch you up on.  So without any further ado, let's hop back in to the end of season two, shall we?

01:18  Alright, let's start this episode off right with some Korean sex!

03:47  And all of the sudden, Jin's a dick again.  Dicks on an Island!

05:06  Ba na na!

16:53  Oh shit, is Sun pregnant?

10:16  Locke totally just stole a glance at Jack's package.  Jack's package:  Jackage.

He doesn't look impressed.

12:36  Sawyer's reading Judy Blume?  Interesting.

13:42  Called it at 6:53.

13:51  Ah, Locke's a fan of the Seeds, apparently.  Good taste.

21:40  Oh Michelle Rodriguez, you so funny.

Another one just for you, Erin.
28:04  I like you, Michelle Rodriguez. I like you!

30:09  I don't see a balloon, you guys.

32:02  So Sun hears English backwards?  That's just silly.

34:23  What is this "No Flugelhorns" sign about?  Chuck Mangione is illegal in South Korea!

No "Feels So Good" jokes here.  I'll leave that to King of the Hill.
34:45  Oh come on, man, don't they have people proofreading these subtitles?

Your using that incorrectly.
40:07  Locke doesn't trust this whole "breakfast" thing.

41:56  I like this evil guy.  "You guys got any milk?"
