S3E18 - "D.O.C."

Once again, I can only guess at the plot based on the episode's title.  So, I guess this is going to be about the unofficial sixth member of NWA, whose voice was famously destroyed in a car accident.

04:10  Is that Jin's mother?  Jin's whore mother?

08:55  What if the others are really dingoes dressed as humans?

11:27  What the fuck is Bakunin doing back from the dead?  This man's such an anarchist he doesn't even obey the laws of science!

17:30  All this shit about Jin's mother is boring as hell.  Who cares?  Not me, the audience.

19:17  Don't trust her, Sun.  Don't do it.

22:41  So you see, man, it's like, Jin's being indebted to Sun's father, is like, because of Sun, not like, because, like . . . eh I don't even care.

27:48  Oh, how convenient that there's a secret door in the bunker they've already investigated and found empty.

29:58  Lookit Charlie, acting all badass.  Sorry - badarse.

36:12  Uh oh, Sun, you're going to die.  Have fun with that.

37:29  Whore.  (No, no, it's okay, she's literally a whore.)

39:39  Okay, now what shady shit is Juliet going to do?

40:22  She hates Ben!  Well, then we should like her, because it totally makes up for all the heinous shit she's doing.

42:09  They found the plane?  Well.  Then the people on this island are a bunch of fucking liars!  Or else . . . it's a government cover-up RON PAUL 2012 END THE FED

S3E17 - "Catch-22"

One of my favorite films, and a great book as well.  But I'm going to go ahead and guess this isn't about Italy in World War II.  I'm the bombardier!

If you haven't seen the film before, you probably wonder why Orson Welles is staring at a naked Alan Arkin.  And I will not answer.
01:22  Why is Charlie wandering around in the rain with his guitar?  That, combined with the heat, could totally warp the wood.

02:14  Holy shit, Charlie got an arrow to the throat!  This must be one of Desmond's "flashes."

04:43  I'm not even going to bother asking why Desmond is in a monastery.

08:45  Is Kate wearing a thong?  That's pretty impractical when you're stranded on a goddamn island.

12:14  I like the little details in this show sometimes.  Like how Charlie's writing a song in one of the Dharma notebooks.

12:36  Nice homage to The Bridge on the River Kwai.  Alec Guinness forever!

14:46  Facepunch!

17:42  Kate's touching Sawyer's peepee.

22:28  The question is, is Desmond planning to sacrifice Charlie in the hope that this really is his woman?

26:52  Sawyer's feeling inadequate now that he realizes Kate's only into him now that Jack's all hot for Juliet.  I thought I was watching LOST, not Days of Our Lives.

28:25  "Ardil-22" - I'm going to guess that's French.  (For Catch-22).

29:27  I guess this mean's Sawyer's an EASY LOVER!!!! HA HA GET IT

31:26  Uh oh, getting drunk is not part of the monastic life.

34:57  Say something, you fool!

35:13  Good job, Des.  You didn't let us down.

40:47  You know it's not going to be Penny.  Probably one of those Russkies we saw last season.

41:04  Or . . . some random MOIE.*

Minority of Indeterminate Ethnicity

S3E16 - "One of Us"

GABBA GABBA WE ACCEPT YOU

02:47  Sayid busts out the "Okay, spill it.  Everything."

04:01  I wonder if Richard Alpert is any relation to Herb Alpert.

05:31  Kill her anyway!

12:24  Heels are definitely not the best shoe for climbing around on a submarine.  German U-Boat crews found this out the hard way.

13:27  McCoughnadickname . . . kind of . .  "Three Men and a Baby".

13:40  Claire's got whatever disease everyone's worried about, I bet.

19:17  Your sister's dead!  Oh.  Will be dead, soon.  Close enough.

20:21  Does everyone on the island have cancer?  That'd be fucked up.

22:03  Oh, Claire.  I know how bad a nosebleed can be.  While eating pho in an east London Vietnamese restaurant.

25:18  So this is a different serum than the one Charlie found?  Too many sera.

28:33  She's just now realizing that Ben's a liar?  What a rube!

31:11  That's some false analogy right there - what Sayid and Sawyer did didn't effect the day to day lives of everyone on the island, and their very existence.  If I were them, I'd kick her ass on principle.

38:16  Yay, Claire is saved.  Meh.

39:46  Yes, wanting to get off the island negates all the horrible shit she took part in.  Good morals there, Jack-o!

41:33  So even after all this, she's still a Bad Guy.  I don't know if this is great character insight, or crappy writing.  Considering these past half-dozen episodes, I'm going to have to side with the latter.
